MIMESIS (2019-ongoing)
The whole system is built on some mistake. The foundations of humanity are badly poured. So I make a journey in search of other orders. Here I meet cyborgs, deities, angels and demons. I create a utopian vision of the world based on friendship, empathy, love and respect for natural rhythms. A world of unfettered freedom where patriarchal systems that perpetuate gender inequality, discrimination and oppression are challenged and ultimately dismantled. Here the cyclical nature of life, death and rebirth intertwines with the fluidity of gender and sexuality. And the changing seasons, phases of the moon, and cycles of birth and decay are metaphors for the diversity and fluidity of modern identities. The classical idea of mimesis assumes that art imitates reality. I reverse this order - let reality imitate art.
